The Department of the History of Ukrainian Literature, Theory of Literature and Literary Creativity of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and the Department of Shevchenko Studies of the Shevchenko Institute of Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, within the framework of the celebration of the 210th anniversary of the birth of the national genius – Taras Shevchenko – have prepared a monograph dedicated to the study of the important aspects of his  literary heritage, the analysis of the work of literary critics of the 19th and 20th centuries and the modern achievements of Shevchenko studies, represented, in particular, by scientists of the Shevchenko University.
